Making Makeup Accessible with GUIDE Beauty CEO Terri Bryant

A brand for all skill sets, all abilities, all makeup lovers!

“When life gives you lemons, make lemonade” — or, in Terri Bryant’s case, make a cosmetic line that’s inclusive to everyone!

This week on The Beauty Standard, Nicole Gregory chats with Terri Bryant, founder of GUIDE Beauty. Terri has been passionate about makeup since she was a young girl, eventually putting that passion into a career that spanned many years. She was forced to reevaluate her makeup process after she was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease, and found it difficult to readapt to using the products she had loved for ages. The product designs were not user-friendly or inclusive to those with dexterity issues. Instead of letting her diagnosis stop her, Terri designed prototypes that not only made it possible for her to apply makeup, but do it with more ease than before!

Terri teamed up with GUIDE Beauty CCO Selma Blair to create a line of products designed to benefit all makeup lovers regardless of experience level, skill set, or physical dexterity! Listen to Terri’s interview with Nicole to learn about GUIDE Beauty, the importance of accessibility in cosmetics, and how to find light in the darkest periods of life.
