International Women’s Day means something different to everyone, but overall it promotes and celebrates gender equality as well as women’s cultural, economic, and political achievements.
Whether they’re claiming the ranks of the corporate ladder or starting their own businesses, women are showing up in more ways now more than ever before. They’re putting themselves first and changing the world as they chase down their dreams.
The theme for the 2019 International Women’s Day is #BalanceforBetter. When everyone is heard, seen, and has an equal opportunity, the country as a whole will run more effectively and thrive. It takes the collective to make a difference, each of us has a responsibility to take action. When women thrive, everyone thrives.

To me, it means supporting different women around the world. Different sizes and shapes and anything that they do.
