LASHES FAQ

How long do eyelash extensions last?

When properly applied, lash extensions can be worn throughout the year with minimal monthly maintenance. Touch-ups, or fills, are recommended after the initial full set application to refill any lashes that have cycled out, which is usually every 2-4 weeks depending on your natural lash growth cycle.

Can lash extensions harm natural lashes?

When applied properly, lash extensions will not harm natural lashes. Lash extensions application allows for the natural lashes to grow with the extensions.

Can mascara be used with lash extensions?

Mascara is typically not needed with lash extensions. Mascara should only be used when a touch-up is drawing near. Water-soluble mascara can be worn; however constant use of mascara may shorten the lifespan of your lash extensions.

What is the proper way to care for lashes?

It is important to keep your lashes clean to maximize the life of your extensions and it keeps your eyes healthy. Using a lash wand to comb the lashes free of tangles is recommended.

You will want to keep water away from your lashes for the first 12-24 hours after your application or fill. Water can weaken the adhesive before it is set, which will cause lash fall out. It is not recommended to use oil-based cleaners, or cleaners with glycol.

Mascara is typically not needed with lash extensions.
If you choose to wear mascara with your lashes, you must avoid applying the mascara at the root of your lashes. This will cause clumping at the base of your lashes, making for difficult clean up and degrading the longevity of your lashes.

It is best to only use mascara formulated specifically for lash extensions.
You may apply mascara with a very light hand at the lash tips, and make sure to avoid waterproof mascara as this will make it difficult to remove and may pull out lashes.
