What do you do for a living?
I’m an ENT physician practicing aesthetic medicine at the Grand Pearl as well as the Medical Director of the Urban You.
Tell us about any passion projects!
My passions are health, wellness & beauty. I am so fortunate to be able to practice what I preach! My goal is for my patients to be the best version of themselves. That does not mean conforming to any societal standard but to embrace their unique beauty & taking preventative steps to age gracefully & live a long & healthy life.
I am especially excited about the podcast series we have started at Urban You as well as the VLOG series I began filming with West Michigan Woman. This gives me an opportunity to highlight interesting topics & innovative procedures in the field of health, wellness & beauty!
What would be your DREAM vacation?
A dream vacation for me is almost anywhere tropical with a view of the ocean & amazing company.
Who is someone you’d love to meet?
If Tyler Henry, the Hollywood Medium, is actually the real deal, then having a reading with him would be a dream come true. I have a few people that are dear to my heart that left this world too soon. I miss them and would love to reconnect.
What do you love about Grand Rapids? How long have you lived in the area?
I have lived in Grand Rapids for over 20 years. For me Grand Rapids is a big little city. It’s big enough to have amazing restaurants and entertainment yet small enough to feel like a close knit community. Plus, I love how close it is to Lake Michigan especially in the summertime!
What services do you love at Urban You?
It’s hard to pick a favorite service, but I do love the customized private spa parties from UrbanYou. I threw the BEST birthday party for my daughter and her friends. It was such a memorable experience and they were educated on proper skin care and make up application. It was both FUN and informative. My daughter can’t wait to do it again this year!
