What is a Lip Flip?
A “Lip Flip” is a non-invasive treatment that makes lips appear fuller. This is done with Botox injections that focus on the upper lip, including the corners and edges. The neurotoxin in Botox relaxes the top lip, which allows it to slightly flip upwards. Getting a Lip Flip is a great way to temporarily enhance your smile and lips while still looking natural!
What is the difference between a Lip Flip and filler?
Lip filler is typically done with a hyaluronic acid-based formula, like Juvéderm Ultra. Hyaluronic acid fillers are typically injected into multiple parts areas of or all over the top and bottom lip. Fillers provide immediate results after treatment and add volume to the lips.
A Lip Flip focuses mainly on the top lip, enhancing it without adding excess volume. This process results in a natural looking fullness. Unlike fillers, Lip Flips can take up to a week to fully develop.

How long does a Lip Flip last?
Lip Flips typically last anywhere from 2-5 months without touch up appointments.
What does recovery from a Lip Flip include?
Recovery from a Lip Flip is similar to that of lip filler or Botox injections in other areas of the face. It generally takes anywhere from 24-48 hours for swelling and other common side effects to subside. Common side effects may include swelling, tenderness, and numbness.
