ABOUT LITTLE BARN APOTHECARY:

Little Barn Apothecary was created in 2015 by founders Brad Scoggins and Joshua Morgan out of a shared passion for all things natural, holistic, and simple.

What began as an at-home kitchen experiment to find a natural, homemade remedy for symptoms of psoriasis soon turned into the Lavender + Frankincense Original Oil, LBA’s very first product. After sharing the formula with family and friends, the pair was met with enthusiastic requests for more, and the idea to turn their at-home passion project into a full-fledged business was sparked.

Little Barn was officially debuted to the public as a line of core products in January 2015 and has grown rapidly since. Each botanical ingredient is carefully hand-selected by Joshua and Brad for its natural healing property and intention. Every product is crafted in small-batch apothecary tradition with recycled glass bottles and minimal packaging. Transparency persists as a core value of the brand and every ingredient and its purpose will always be communicated so you can trust that what you’re putting on your skin is safe, ethical, and completely and wholly good for you. 

Little Barn Apothecary has flagship stores in Atlanta, Chicago, and Watersound, Florida. They are also available at other stores, their latest addition being Urban You!

Little Barn Apothecary believes in the luxury of simplicity. They take inspiration from the earth and the raw beauty of its natural elements to provide unique formulations designed to evoke a feeling of wellbeing. 

The products are 100% vegan, cruelty-free, and truly all-natural. Each botanical ingredient is selected by hand and each product is carefully crafted in small-batch apothecary tradition in their micro facility in Atlanta, Georgia. No synthetic or “filler” ingredients will ever be used. They want you to be able to turn your box over, look at the ingredient list, and feel good about everything that you’re putting on your skin. Uncomplicated products with real results.

Lavender + Frankincense Original Oil

This nutrient-rich original oil was developed 10 years ago for the face but has multiple uses as a body, bath, or hair oil. Loaded with high levels of omega-3, -6, and -9 essential fatty acids. A powerhouse of vitamins including A, D, E, copper, zinc, selenium, iodine, chromium, and chlorophyll. Suited for all skin types, but is most beneficial for skin that is considered normal or sensitive.

To use: Warm a few drops in palms and press onto a clean face in an upward motion or add a few drops to a warm bath. 

Ingredients: Hemp seed oil*, avocado oil*, jojoba oil*, lavender essential oil*, frankincense oil*, vitamin E. This ingredient list is subject to updates. Customers should refer to the product packaging for the most up to date ingredient.

Orchid + Blackcurrant Face Serum

This exceptional serum uses the power of potent orchid extract, an antioxidant known to reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles, and humectant that moisturizes, soothes, and conditions skin. Useful in treating dry, parched skin. Revives skin instantly. 

To use: Warm a few drops in palms and press over a clean face in an upward motion. 

Ingredients: Avocado oil*, orchid extract, jojoba oil*, blackcurrant oil, neroli essential oil, vitamin E. This ingredient list is subject to updates. Customers should refer to the product packaging for the most up to date ingredient.

Borage + Botanicals Hydration Cream Concentrate

For parched skin in need of some deep moisture, this cream concentrate has the most intense hydration formula. Created with 8 botanicals, aloe vera, bilberry, orange, lemon, cranberry, willowbark, and tea tree, as well as borage oil and olive aqualene to fortify and nourish thirsty skin. Use a small amount as a daily moisturizer or use a little more for a reparative night treatment to help get your skin on the mend. 

To use: Apply a thin layer to clean skin. Massage in an upward motion over face. 

Ingredients: Aloe leaf juice*, rose distillate*, bilberry extract, cane sugar*, orange fruit extract*, lemon fruit extract*, cranberry extract*, white willow bark, olive squalene, borage seed oil* , hydroxyethylcellulose (plant-derived), tea tree oil, citric acid. This ingredient list is subject to updates. Customers should refer to the product packaging for the most up to date ingredients.

Passion Fruit + Rose Enzymatic Exfoliant Mask

An organic-based, highly effective exfoliating treatment mask to improve dull, aging, and congested skin. Created with alpha hydroxy fruit acids from passion fruit, lemon, pineapple, and grape. This gel-based mask is blended with organic aloe and soothing rose to reduce redness associated with the active process of exfoliation with AHA. Great for all skin types.

To use: Apply a thin layer to clean skin and relax for 15-20 minutes. Mild tingling will occur. If sensitive, reduce the time for which mask is left on the face. Rinse well. 

Ingredients: Aloe leaf juice*, hydroxyethylcellulose, passion fruit acids*, lemon fruit acids*, pineapple fruit acids*, grape extract*, silver dihydrogen citrate, rose oil, citric acid, potassium sorbate. Sunburn alert: this product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may cause sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterward.
