Jeremiah Mankopf
Mr. Mankopf founded MGS Consultants, LLC (MGS) which is a multi-client lobbying firm that enables corporations, associations and non-profits to promote their interests through political, legislative and the regulatory processes. MGS creates opportunities and solves problems by devising and implementing effective, creative strategies to achieve success in any political environment. MGS specializes in Procuring Federal Appropriation within the Federal Budget and Procuring Federal Grants. Prior to founding MGS Consultants, Jeremiah was an established lobbyist in Lansing with one of the largest multi-client firms in the country. Jeremiah managed high profile clients such as MasterCard, Quicken Loans, TNT Fireworks, Williams International, Aetna Health Care and America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP).
Politically Mr. Mankopf was the communication specialist for a United States Congressman. He began his career as a legislative assistant for the former Michigan Senate Majority Floor Leader. Jeremiah served the Senator on issues relating to financial services, consumer services, transportation and community health. Mr. Mankopf received his Bachelor's Degree in Communication with a minor in Business from Michigan State University. Mr. Mankopf is a member of his local Lions and Rotary Club. He also does public speaking for special events
Vicki Baron
Vicki Baron is a former legislative staffer and association lobbyist. She was on staff for over 18 years in the Michigan House of Representatives, serving most of her time as Legislative Director and Chief of Staff. She was also the state lobbyist for the Michigan Credit Union League for three and half years. At the Michigan House, Vicki focused on transportation, health policy, education, energy, and workforce and development issues.
As a lobbyist for the MCUL, she focused on financial and regulatory issues, advocating on behalf of credit unions, building coalitions, and working to get legislation passed that would benefit the credit union community. Vicki holds a Master’s degree from Western Michigan University, majoring in Public Administration with a focus on State Agencies, and a Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University, majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies of Social Science with a focus on Public Policy. Most recently, she completed the Center for Healthcare Research & Transformation Policy Fellowship at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. Vicki is currently a member of the Planned Parenthood Community Advisory Council for the Mid-South Region and an active volunteer at her children’s school. She also likes to camp, kayak, and spend time with family and friends
